YouTube was meant to be a simple means to stream your favorite videos endlessly. But it doesn’t hurt to have more control over how to watch the videos right? With that being the sole purpose, YouTube Center project was developed. It adds extra functionality to your YouTube experience.
With YouTube Center installed, You instantly get access to over 100 tweaks most of which are advanced stuffs which you can safely ignore, But there are a few which will be quite useful for the normal YouTube user. For example with YouTube Center you can:
- Download YouTube Videos in preferred quality, file type and file name.
- Increase YouTube buffering speed and buffer the full YouTube video.
- Set resolution automatically (predefine).
- & more.
This was just an excerpt of its entire functionality. The extension is delivered as an Addon for every browser or as a Greasemonkey Script. I would prefer the Greasemonkey script option as it is light weight and doesn’t use an extra addon (if you already use Greasemonkey for other purposes).

Anyways you can install the YouTube Center in your choice package from here : [YouTube Center Download]
BTW, Before you install anything from external source on your Google Chrome, You need to Enable Developer Mode on your Chrome Extensions Page.
After you install it, You are presented with a greeting box when you reload Youtube.com and are given an option to open the Settings Box, Go ahead. Now that you are in the Settings box, I will show you how to Increase YouTube Buffering Speed and Load the entire YouTube Video.
Increase YouTube Buffering Speed And Load The Entire YouTube Video.
YouTube uses a streaming protocol called Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH). How this works is it lets you load blocks of video ahead of your current position. This can be good if you are on a Fast connection, But I am sure there have been times when you left a video paused so it buffers completely and then you come back to see it has stopped just a few steps ahead of where you paused.
You can disable this and let YouTube buffer the entire video while paused. To do that,
Step 1. Open the YouTube Center Settings box and go to the Player tab.
Step 2. Uncheck the DASH Playback box.
Step 3. Close the setting box and refresh the YouTube Page.
Next, You can add the YouTube Video Download Buttons to the video page.
Download YouTube Videos Easily By Enabling Download Buttons.
Step 1. Open the YouTube Center Settings box and go to the Download tab.
Step 2. Play with the Settings and tweak the default download Quality, Format, File Name etc.
Step 3. Close the settings box and refresh the YouTube Page.
Step 4. When you visit the Youtube video page, You can see the Download Youtube Video button above the video descriptions.
Another handy feature is the option to Import/Export your tweaks. This means your tweaks can never be vulnerable to accidental PC Formats or Browser uninstallations.
You can find the Import/Export settings option in the General Tab, Along with an option to Reset the Tweaks to default.
