After a long pause, BlackBerry has resumed the downloads of BlackBerry Messenger aka BBM for iOS and Android. Last time the app for android and ios was shut down because of a leaked BBM APK file which caused a lot of problems at the BlackBerry Servers supposedly. Now they seem to have fixed the problems and have relaunched the app to these two major mobile platforms.
As of now, The app is live in both Google Play Store and Apple iTunes. You can download the app for free from the respective app stores. Once you have downloaded it, You can create your BBM Pin and start messaging with your friends on BBM.
To install from Play Store, Visit www.bbm.com on your Android’s browser and you will be redirected to the Play Store where you can download and install the application. I say this because there are tons of fake BBM apps on the play store so searching for the app won’t be a good idea as you might end up installing the fake app.
Anyways here is the official Google Play Link to BBM for Android.
Or else you can download the official BBM APK for android from the link below, Just download it > Transfer to your phone and start the installation.

Here are some screenshots of BBM on Android.
After you download and Install, You need to enter your Email ID to get in. If you had earlier signed up for the Email notification at BlackBerry.com then you should already be in. Others need to wait for their chance.
Well not really, The guys at CNet found this :
Open the app, enter your e-mail address, click Next, and then force-close it. This can be done on iOS by double-clicking the home button and swiping the app away. On Android, enter the multitasking menu and swipe the app away, or go to Settings, Apps, BBM, and click Force Close. After relaunching the app you should have the power to create an account, which will assign you a unique PIN, and to begin inviting friends.
The above method seems to be patched, So try this.
1. When it asks you to enter Email ID to proceed, Enter the Email ID of any of your friends who have already got it in and are using the App.
2. After that it asks you to Setup your own account and you can use your personal Email ID there.
I haven’t tested this trick because I got in instantly. So let me know if it worked out for you.
