Twitter Spam - Twitter Email Notifications
Yup you heard it correct! Twitter has officially started spamming their users! well not exactly spamming but sort of, Twitter has announced that they are rolling out an email notification that lets you know if someone you follow retweets or favorites one of your Tweets, Gosh!
Trust me there would be no one on the Internet who wouldn’t have sat hours sorting out their emails out for the serious ones rather than the facebook and twitter notifications!
This new feature is added along with the existing email notification that notifies the tweeter when he/she has a new follower or a direct message!
This new feature can pose a huge problem to celebs and twitter addicts with large follower lists!
How to Turn OFF the New Email Notifications.
- Login to Twitter.
- Click Settings > Notifications.
- Then uncheck those for which you don’t need email notifications.
