How to Automate Login with iMacros

Its a boring task to login to each and every website where you are a member of like facebook,twitter etc.

There is a useful app for Firefox and Chrome users called iMacros. This addon can automate almost anything you can think of, like logging in to facebook, twitter or any website.

The idea is to show this app once how to perform the task in the recording mode and it will replay the task every time you like to.

How to Record Task with iMacros

  1. Install iMacros Addon
    Link for Firefox
    Link for Chrome
  2. Go to the website where you want to Automate login etc.
  3. Click the iMacros button next to the Address bar.
  4. Click the Rec (Record) tab.

  5. Click the Record button and start performing the task.
  6. If you are entering the login credentials then click the Username Field then type the username and click the Password Field after that press the Login button.
  7. After which stop the Recording by clicking the Stop button below the Rec. button.
  8. Save the scripts if you like and play them again whenever needed.

How to Use These Scripts

  1. Download and Extract the scripts and copy them to this location

    C:\Documents and Settings\\Documents\iMacros\Examples

  2. Open the files with notepad and edit the following places:
    USERNAME HERE – Enter your username or email ID of the site.
    PASSWORD HERE – Enter you password for the site.
    Tip: Use Search and replace in notepad
  3. Do the above for all the scripts and Open the addon from browser, Click the script and press play.
  4. Now the Addon will automatically log you in without entering your password everytime.
