Sharing Your Computer’s Internet Connection with Your Android.
Step 1. Download and install this Desktop software [LINK].
Step 2. Turn ON your Desktop/Laptop’s Wifi Adapter.
Step 3. Start the Connectify Application on your PC.
Step 4. Fill in the Hotspot Name and Password > Select the Network Adapter which powers your PC’s internet.
Step 5. Select the Wifi Adapter of your PC (Share Over) | Select WPA2 in Sharing Mode > Click on Start Hotspot.
Step 6. Open your Android WiFi settings > Turn on Wifi Adapter > Search for new connections.
Step 7. When the Connectify Hotspot appears, Just click on it and enter the password you chose while setting up Connectify Desktop client.
Step 8. Connection Successful!
Step 9. To disconnect, Just stop the Connectify Hotspot and disconnect the Wifi from Android.
Though the steps above depict only Android phone example, This can be used with any device which supports a Wifi Access.
