What is the updated Terms of Service all about?
The update is mostly about how Google will be using your content on other Google Products. i.e Advertisements, Reviews etc. In short – Google will be using your Google+ profile picture and name on Google Advertisements across the web. Google says this will help people in choosing products that their friends like and avoid those they they don’t.
How do I opt out of Google’s Shared Endorsements in Ads?
But as usual Google being a perfect gentleman has offered you a 4-click option to opt out of this shared endorsements in ads. Here is how you do it.
Step 1. Log in to your Google+ Account, Give this page/article a +1 , Like and share it (to alert your friends about this) and visit this link : Google Plus Settings.
Step 2. Read the page if you want, Else scroll to the bottom > Uncheck the Checkbox.
Step 3. Hit the Save button > Continue.
