I had previously written a guide on how to download android apk from play store. But I got bored updating it and thought to write a new one instead. The method mentioned there worked very well until the application was left un-updated by the developer. It also needed a bit of configuration before you could start using it.
Anyways this new method is simple and is web based, which means you need not download any applications to your PC. Also you need not create any account or configure it in any way. Keeping it short, I will directly cut to the steps.
Remember to tick ‘Unknown Sources‘ in your Android Settings before you can install APKs from external sources.
How to Download Android APK from Play Store.
Step 1. Open the App whose APK you need to download on your browser in Google Play Store > Copy the URL.
Step 2. Visit the APK Downloader website [LINK].
Step 3. Paste the URL in the box provided.
Step 4. Click Generate Download Link.
Step 5. Let it generate the link and after that you will get a screen showing the APK Size and other details along with a green button to download the APK.
Incase the script is fetching out dated APK, You can force fetch the latest app apk by using the Advanced Setting menu on the website. But normally you don’t need to. The script downloads the APK to its storage and then provides a resumable download link to the apk.
Android APK Downloader Chrome Extension.
The website also provides a Google Chrome Extension which you can use to directly download the apps from Play Store. But in case of chrome extension, You need to configure it with your Google Account ID, Password and Device ID.
You can download the Chrome Extension from here : [LINK]
