Google has been working on a new slick player for its YouTube Videos. The upgrade looks amazing due its transparent; almost glassy effect.
Though the new player has not brought any stunning new features (yet) but it does have something simple to offer. The player auto hides itself when the video start playing and only reappears when you hover over the video.
This gives a feeling that there’s more space for the video, and has a clean look.
Although the Player hasn’t arrived officially for everyone, there is a nifty little trick that can enable it for you right now.
YouTube decides which player you use with the help of a Cookie it sets on your computer. All you need to do is modify the Cookie and change it so that YouTube gives you the new player.
I know it sounds ‘techy’ but it isn’t, just a few clicks and you are good to go.
Before you proceed, I think you would love to see the new YouTube Player in action.
